OU football: University of Oklahoma student alleges Kennedy Brooks abused her
A University of Oklahoma student named Mallory Jech on Friday identified herself as an alleged victim of abuse by Oklahoma running back Kennedy Brooks, who was cleared by OU’s Title IX office in an investigation nearly one month ago.
Brooks was held out of OU football activities while Title IX investigated the allegations, according to The Athletic, but was reinstated July 10 after the office finished its findings. Read more here.
Mallory Jech is a student at the University of Oklahoma who claimed that she was an alleged victim of abuse by Oklahoma running back Kennedy Brooks. According to The Athletic, Brooks was held out of OU football activities while Title IX investigated the allegations but was cleared of the accusations nearly one month ago. In an unverified Twitter account, Jech talked about how she suffered mental and physical violence, and how she had been accused of lying about her allegations. She had been protecting the career of a liar and abuser, but not anymore. Brooks’ status with his team remains unchanged since being reinstated.
